Ian also got an accidental gift from me. On Saturday afternoon he asked if I would help him trim his hair. So, I took the trimmer and trimmed away a large chunk of hair not noticing it did not have the hair attachment, so I ended up shaving it almost to the skin. Luckily Ian was a good sport about the whole thing and didn't end up shaving my head bald. So, I have attached a picture of Ian's new hairdo. Doesn't he look sexy!

Ian's Birthday
Today is Ian's birthday and we had a wonderful day celebrating it. It was nice to have a day were the three of just hung out. And last night Ian and I went out alone for the first time. We got to enjoy a night out at the theater to watch "The Phantom of the Opera." Ian had been excited about it and sang the main song on almost a daily basis, so I figured it would be a great b-day gift. We really enjoyed ourselves.

I'm trying...
Ok, so at Ian's suggestion it is my turn to put some words down. Today, Isabella and I spent all day at the house without electricity. Seems someone caught their car on fire near the transformer that powers our whole neighborhood. I didn't realize how much I take for granted electricity. Ian also demonstrated his wonderful cooking skills by making us clam chowder & ham & cheese melt sandwiches for dinner. It was a wonderful meal. Thank goodness for my husband!
On another note, Isabella celebrated her 4 month birthday by going to the doctor and getting more vaccinations. Not a fun day! But, we did find out she now weighs 13.75 lbs which is in the 50th percentile for girls her age and 24.5 inches long which is in the 75th percentile. My has she grown. She also had another huge milestone by rolling over from her tummy to back last week. She has been amazing us everyday.
That's all for now folks!

Having fun on the pond
This is the day that my hockey skate blew out. Lucky I didn't snap my ankle in half. When I hit the ice, Morty started attacking me.

Our first blog ever
It's about time we join the blogging craze. Not sure why we haven't done so yet, but it's about damn time! Our motivation for creating this is to bring fame to our beautiful baby Isabella. She really is the world's cutest. We want our friends and family to share in our everyday joy.
Here is a collage I just created with the new Picasa 3 software. It has a lot of cool features, and best of all, it is free. We use it to edit, view, print & upload pics to our 2 Picasa photo pages. You can check these out at http://picasaweb.google.com/ian.vero and http://picasaweb.google.com/ian.vero2

We'll do our best to add content on a regular basis. We'll keep it fresh. And with that, we hope you enjoy this blog.
Much Love,
Ian, Veronica & Isabella Hyvonen
